You are purchasing a one-of-a-kind, handmade piece and can expect subtle variation in size, color, and traits from piece to piece. Great care is taken to ensure that item characteristics in product images are accurate, however please be aware that there may be display differences from screen to screen. Therefore it is in your best interest to read the product description thoroughly before purchase to understand the product’s dimensions and inherent characteristics. Please reach out if you have questions about an item before purchase.
Shipping Policy
Nicole Dacey Pottery is run solely by me, Nicole, and therefore shipping is restricted to one day a week to help me stay balanced and reliable. You can expect your order to be shipped by the Tuesday after you place it via USPS Priority or First Class, depending on item weight. This will include tracking and insurance, and your package should arrive to you within 2-3 business days (for US Shipping only, excludes delays due to Covid-related issues or holiday rush).
While many of my items are lightweight, pottery in general can be fairly heavy. Because of this, shipping can often seem higher than expected, sometimes even more than the item cost. Unfortunately, shipping costs are out of my control.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING costs will vary from country to country. Please be prepared for any unforeseen delays or additional charges (at cost to the customer) due to but not limited to customs, vat, taxes, duties, etc. Any excessive shipping overages will be refunded. Once the package leaves the United States, I have no access other than tracking information.
Return Policy
All sales are final, so please read item descriptions and policies thoroughly before purchase. I am happy to help with any questions you may have before purchasing. I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they are handed off to USPS. For inquiries about your package once it has been scanned into their system, please contact USPS directly and have your tracking number ready.
If your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of the delivery date with a photo of the damaged piece, along with the box and packaging with all labels visible. Reported damages outside of the 2 day limit will not be refunded as time sensitive insurance claims will have expired. Shipping cost will not be refunded.
Caring For Your Ceramics
All pieces are food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe unless otherwise stated in the product description or sculptural handbuilt pieces. That being said, handwashing is always preferred to extend the life of your handmade piece. If you’re unsure about a piece, please reach out and I’ll be happy to chat about it.
Dainty pieces with thin walls or delicate features are more likely to crack or chip if handled roughly, so please handle with care. These types of items are best cleaned by hand gently.
Wholesale
I do not currently offer wholesale options at this time, but please reach out if there is interest and we can chat.
